About Us

Girl Meets World is a nonprofit organization committed to educating and empowering young girls through comprehensive, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons on women’s rights, gender equity, and the often-overlooked history of women throughout the world. Our mission is to bridge the gap left by traditional education systems by creating spaces where girls can learn about the trailblazing women who came before them, understand the rights they hold today, and feel confident to advocate for themselves and others in the future.

We believe that early education on gender equity and social justice can fundamentally shift how young girls view themselves and their place in the world. Through interactive workshops, social media programs, and this website, we introduce girls to the rich and diverse stories of women’s activism, leadership, and resilience. Our programming is designed to foster critical thinking, curiosity, and self-confidence in a supportive and joyful environment.
